The Zocalo Development Method -
Zocalo’s development method is the 21st Century embodiment of the great European tradition of the architect as master builder. Zocalo is “vertically-integrated,” performing and controlling all design, development, construction and sales and marketing of our projects. The result of this vertical integration is the creation of residences of exceptional quality and attainability.

Our residents benefit from this alignment of architect, developer, broker and contractor. Rather than a typical ‘transactional’ approach to development, we practice ‘relational’ development: Our offices are in the first floor of our 42-unit Zocalo project, giving current residents easy access to our team; We test virtually all new products and finish items to ensure that we deliver units of the highest quality; Marketing staff attends every construction and development team meeting, ensuring that there is team-wide understanding of our projects. And construction and architecture staff participate in marketing meetings to ensure that all Development Team members benefit from market feedback.
