News People About Zocalo

Sustainability – Zocalo seeks to reduce the impact buildings have on the earth and our environment. We do this by integrating green features in all components of our buildings.

LEED® Certified -
LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and is a verification process administered by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). USGBC is a coalition of leaders in the building industry that promotes the development of buildings that are environmentally responsible and healthy places to live and work. LEED is the most rigorous of the “green building” systems because it is administered by a third party – the USGBC – that objectively verifies all the green component of a building. The LEED process covers six distinct categories of a construction process, making it the most all-encompassing “green” evaluative system. To learn more about LEED, visit http://www.usgbc.org.
